Fun Dog Show & Teddy Bear's Picnic 2022

I have decided to host a fun dog show and picnic on Thursday, 2nd June 2022.  The event will be held in memory of my mum Alison Inglis who was tragically taken in 2022 from hospital acquired Covid 19 and Teddy who went to the Rainbow Bridge in 2021.  All monies raised will be donated to Helping Yorkshire Poundies (Desmond's rescue group) with a percentage going to St Monica's who looked after my mum on two occasions.

Date for your diary - 2ndJune 2022 starting at 11am.

As in previous years, entry is £2 per class and there is no need to register you can "pay-as-you-go" throughout the show.

At the moment, the list of classes are as follows (but may be subject to change):-

  1. Best Fancy Dress
  2. Prettiest Puppy (under 12 months)
  3. Glorious Golden Oldie (over 7 years)
  4. Fabulous Fella
  5. Gorgeous Gal
  6. Waggiest Tail
  7. Dog with a Disability
  8. Best Biscuit Catcher
  9. Lovely Looky-Likey (owner who looks like their dog)
  10. Best Trick (single trick)
  11. Great at Give-a-Paw or High Five
  12. Best Dinky Dog (under 14 inches)
  13. Best Big Dog (over 14 inches)
  14. Happiest Rescue/Rehome
  15. Judge's Favourite - all first places automatically entered

We look forward to seeing the show regulars and, of course, welcoming new competitors alike to join in the fun and fundraise in aid of St Monica's and Helping Yorkshire Poundies.  The picnic at the end of the show has proved very popular so don't forget to bring a chair (the salon has a limited amount of chairs available).  We will provide some snacks and squash because taking part in the show is thirsty work but if everyone can bring a plate of something to share there will be plenty to go around!

The important bit:  please remember to bring your dog on a lead, supervise children at all times and please clean up after your dog so everyone can have a fun day.

See you there!
