It all started with a Martini...
Actually, it all started with a dog called Martini!
My name is Morag and I have loved dogs all my life and have had different breeds from long haired Chihuahuas to Lakeland Terriers to Rhodesian Ridgebacks and a few of the Heinz variety in between. I struggled to find a dog groomer where I was living in Cumbria when Martini was adopted as an older puppy and that was the start of Doggy Doos Salon.
I moved to Easingwold with Martini and Daisy who were both Lhasa Apsos, they were completely different in nature - Martini was the ultimate diva dog with everything being a drama and Daisy was laid back. I lost Daisy in October 2016 and Martini in October 2017 - I absolutely adored them both. Teddy was adopted on 30th July 2017 as a friend for Martini who had sadly lost his sight. Teddy is blind in one eye and the two dogs became firm friends very quickly. Teddy came from a house of 32 dogs in a terrible state but he made himself at home, gained lots of weight and enjoys his new life. Suzy has joined our family, she is a Yorkshire terrier, 8 years and a real little tomboy! Suzy loves Teddy and can be seen snuggled with him at the salon.
Myself, Martini and Daisy moved to Easingwold in August 2013 for family reasons but it is such a nice place to live and work! I miss all my little furry friends in Cumbria but we have a whole new set of furry friends to enjoy the Doggy Doos pamper treatment. I am fully qualified, fully insured and hold a Canine First Aid Certificate. I have many years experience with dogs from all walks of life; pampered pooches, working dogs, farm dogs and even a retired police force sniffer dog (who does a "sweep" of the salon - I am very happy to report nothing untoward has been found by him)! I treat all the dogs in my care as if they were one of my own so you can be assured your dog will always be well cared for and have my personal one-to-one attention throughout their visit. If you would like to come and have a look around the salon before making an appointment, please feel free to do so. I look forward to meeting you and your best friend.
